Passionate About Children’s Literacy

Hi! I am so glad you have navigated here:) If you are considering help for your child’s literacy needs, you’ve come to the right place. Passionate is an understatement, and there is a reason it’s in bold letters at the top. Reading is the #1 most important skill you can give to your child. By teaching a child to read and comprehend, you are setting them up for continued success. They can teach themselves absolutely anything, and the sky is their limit.

My literacy experience includes working with students across all grade levels, assessing reading strengths and challenges, and providing structured literacy instruction tailored to your child’s individual needs.

In my experience, an incremental, comprehensive, phonics-based Orton-Gillingham approach and Science of Reading-backed curriculum is most effective. Teaching your child the rules of our language empowers them to decode any word. No more guessing or memorizing. If you have an older student who has plateaued and cannot read at their grade level, then they are simply missing the tools. Language rules are typically taught in grades K-2. If you have a struggling reader, a child who is behind, or an older child unable to read at their level, then it is time for a reading intervention.

While my passion drives me, it is not what qualifies me. I am a Licensed Learn Reading Tutor and a Seasoned Phonics Literacy Instructor. My biggest badge of honor, however, is that I was a Mom to a struggling reader. I know how frustrating it is when you can’t find the help your child needs. Consider me your Interventionist, and we WILL get your child on track!

With Warm Regards,
Mrs. Hall
